Fees For Services

The Fees for our services vary depending on the service being provided. Our holistic services fees are decided between you and your holistic service provider. It is best to email them to find out about the specific fees for the service you are interested in.

For PSYCHOTHERAPY services:

At this time, The Parent & Child Wellness Center only accepts Aetna insurance. If you do not have Aetna Insurance, you can request that a superbill be provided to you that you can submit as a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.

What does that mean? It means that while you pay upfront for your treatment, you can get reimbursed by your insurance company. Your treatment is considered an out-of-network claim.

We recommend that you check with your insurance company to see how they reimburse you for out-of-network treatments. The Parent & Child Wellness Center can give no guarantee for reimbursement, as each company and plan has different out-of-network reimbursement policies. The Parent & Child Wellness Center is not responsible for the denial of any claims that you might submit.

Our Current Psychotherapy Rates:

Mary Kate Robb, LCSW - $195 for a 45-minute session and $250 for home visits and school observations

Sophie Slater, LPC - $195 60-minute session

Elizabeth Maharaj, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Intern - $75 for a 45-minute session

Here are some things you need to know when you call your insurance company:

1. Tell your insurance company the credentials of your therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psy D.)

2. You may be working with a prelisenced therapist (LPC-A, LMSW, LMF-A) supervised by me, Mary Kate Robb, an LCSW. Be sure to confirm that seeing a pre-licensed therapist supervised by an LCSW is reimbursed.

3. If you are working with our intern, those sessions are not reimbursed by an insurance company.

4. You will need a code for your service. The Parent & Child Wellness Center these are the main billing codes for mental health therapy sessions.

Therapy Codes

90834: Psychotherapy, 45 minutes with patient.

Family Therapy Codes

90846: Family psychotherapy, without the patient present.
90847: Family psychotherapy, with the patient present.

5. You will also need to have a diagnosis in order to be reimbursed. This is something that is assessed by your treatment therapist and provided to you by your treatment therapist.
